CCI & EMA Strategy: Trend Momentum System

This strategy combines trend direction with momentum confirmation. It uses the crossover of two Exponential Moving Averages (EMA) to identify the trend change and the Commodity Channel Index (CCI) zero-line cross to confirm the strength of the move on H1 and H4 timeframes.

1. Indicator Setup

Configure your chart with the following settings:

  • Fast MA: EMA 8.
  • Slow MA: EMA 28.
  • Momentum: CCI (Commodity Channel Index), Period 30.
  • Stop Management: Parabolic SAR (0.2, 0.02).

2. Trading Rules

Long Entry (Buy)

  1. Crossover: The EMA 8 crosses the EMA 28 from bottom to top.
  2. Momentum: The CCI indicator is above zero.

Short Entry (Sell)

  1. Crossover: The EMA 8 crosses the EMA 28 from top to bottom.
  2. Momentum: The CCI indicator is below zero.

Trade Management

  • Stop Loss: Place 5 points above/below the signal candle High/Low.
  • Exit: Close when the EMAs cross back in the opposite direction.
