1. Indicator Setup

This strategy requires a specific setup of five indicators:

  • Moving Average 1: Period 8, Smoothed, Apply to HLC/3.
  • Moving Average 2: Period 18, Smoothed, Apply to HLC/3.
  • Parabolic SAR: Step 0.026, Max 0.5.
  • Stochastic: 12, 12, 5.
  • MACD: 8, 21, 1.

2. Long Entry (Buy) Rules

  1. Trend: The 8 Smoothed MA is above the 18 Smoothed MA.
  2. Momentum: The MACD histogram is above zero.
  3. Trigger: One of the Stochastic lines crosses the level 50 from bottom to top.

3. Short Entry (Sell) Rules

  1. Trend: The 8 Smoothed MA is below the 18 Smoothed MA.
  2. Momentum: The MACD histogram is below zero.
  3. Trigger: One of the Stochastic lines crosses the level 50 from top to bottom.

Exit Strategy

Close Position: Exit when the Parabolic SAR dot changes direction (flips to the opposite side of the price).
